It appears that at least on Arch Linux (could be the case on other distros but I have not verified that), the game is permanently locked at 60 fps even with Frame skip off, fullscreen on/off, SyncToVBlank=0 in .nvidia-settings-rc, Window compositor disabled/enabled via Alt+Shift+F12. This is a problem as this prevents the ability to reach higher than 60 fps where my monitor is running at 144 hz and crafting is also significantly slower which gives me muscle memory errors when I hold right click craft an item to not a high quantity like potions for example and also prevents me from crafting items in bulk, even more so with the Labour of Love update increasing the stack limit to 9999. In other games that are naitively supported under Arch Linux like Minecraft and Super Hexagon that I have so far tested, I do not have any Vsync at all both fullscreen and windowed which leaves me to believe that this could be a problem in the game rather than a driver package issue, desktop environment issue, kernel related, or anything among those lines. I know for a fact this has been a problem for me since 1.4.3.4 when I first started using Arch/Manjaro (where Manjaro also presented the exact same set of issues even though it's basically Arch) and trying to run the game under Proton Experimental (which I do not recommend at all) does not lift this random 60 fps cap. This issue could have been in the Linux port since it was first conceived in 1.3.0.7 I believe but I don't feel like downloading that version to verify this possibility. I brought this up on the Terraria subreddit a while ago, only to get dismissed by the rest of the posters that ask "Why do you even need more than 60 fps anyway?" questions which is just dumb and unhelpful. I also asked this on the Arch Linux discord only to find people that have also have this issue and no solution. Unless I am really dumb and missed a lead to fix this, I feel like at this point I've exhausted every lead I could and feel like now it's the time to file this as a bug report. In all the linked attachments, the Window compositor is disabled and first image is Fullscreen with the next being Windowed to show the fps being capped at 60 in the top left of the game window.
