Pirate Invasion

So i Have 2 worlds. 1 is in hardmode and the other is not. I brought a pirate map from my hardmode world to my non hardmode world. Will i still get the pirate captain? I already beat the pirage army btw.

Yes you can use the map on pre-hardmode worlds. I also have a hardmode main world and a pre-hardmode world with a pirate afk farm on it

If you play enough, you will have maps coming out of your ears. I think the drop rate for pirate maps on mobile is too high.

I agree I have like 2-3 chests full of maps.

Can you tell me how to get a pirate map?

I think the drop rate has been reduced on the maps for mobile. You may have to kill mobs close to the seas at either end of your map.
