I have 2 questions to ask about your issue.
Did you defeat Plantera on Expert Mode?

I was in expert and I was on multiplayer
Boss Treasure Bags sometimes glitch up on Multiplayer and don't drop unfortunately. As far as I know, it's been a bug that's been in the game ever since 1.3 released. I think it is known by the Developers at this point, but even to this day there still isn't a fix for treasure bags occasionally not dropping since due to the nature of client & server interactions, it isn't easy to fix.
It sounds like the bug happened on your end here. Unfortunately not much can be done except to fight Plantera again for the chance at another treasure bag. This bug doesn't occur commonly, but it is frustrating for sure when it happens, I've also had it happen in Past Multiplayer playthroughs.

Another thing that could have happened is you didn't get put on the list of contributers. Did you attack Plantera?
