Mobile Please add IP connection to mobile

I want to play with a friend and since we are far apart we can only connect via Internet.

I already tried setting up a VPN but for some unknown reason the games won't find another even its working in LAN for us (tried as I was over there some time ago).
Normally any Game should see VPN as LAN. But I read anywhere VPN can only use IP adresses for connecting.

In another game it works when entering his local VPN IP address.

So could you please add Internet connectivity or a field where one might enter an IP address of the game to connect to?

Yes,But there is no supported or recommended method to play online without this same Wifi.Using VPN is only method to play on multiplayer without this same Wifi...
