Game Mechanics Please let me open my inventory while I'm dead

Terraria is a game of resource management, and the respawn timer, being forced down time, would be a great time to check your inventory and make note of what you need to do next. I find myself trying to check my inventory every other if not every time I die, but it only brings up the pause menu. I really wish I could check my inventory while dead.

Would be even better if you could move inventory things around while dead, 15 seconds is a good while that you have to spend doing absolutely nothing useful.

This would actually be pretty nice now that I think about it. I've definitely done the same thing before, trying to open my inventory only to not be able to cause I'm waiting to respawn
