Other (Poll) Should the plantera bulb be replaced with a craftable item ?

The plantera bulb is my most hated part of the game. It slows down progression tremendously and since 1.3 it sometimes doesn't spawn at all forcing you to create a new world. My suggestion is the bulb is replaced with a craftable item that you get from killing hard mode monsters and combine it with ores / bars.

It's no fun searching for hours to find a 2x2 block that sometimes isn't even there. It feels like more of a chore than an exploration game.

what? i dont think i've ever had it just not spawn. i've never had problem finding plantera bulbs.

This could be useful for grinding plantera's drops. Maybe it could be both?

Could be a potentially good idea, seeing as it can be uprooted by chlorophyte spreading under it. At least that's what the wiki says.
