Progress problem

I was playing this game 2y ago and came back to play with my friend 2 days ago, all my progress was deleted so i started playing with a new character and a new world, today i launched the game and all the progress i had 2y ago came back but the progress with the new character was deleted, what should i do?

Live with it. That's what happens when you switch profiles. It almost happened to me when I noticed that I did not load properly I completely backed out of the game and reset it and then everything came back properly.

It also happens on console if you're not careful.

This kind of issue happens with other games too who use the same process of game save.

On PC, players and worlds are simply saved as files in your documents folder, unless you specially move a player or world to the steam cloud. You might have OneDrive or a similar service messing with your files by syncing them to and from the cloud
