Pumpkin moon event (MOBS WON'T SPAWN) IN MY FARM

I made a pumpkin moon farm crusher but the mobs won't spawn it's 84 blocks right and left of lava with a little platform of 17 blocks wide and height of 35 blocks on top

You need to stand 36+ blocks above the spawn surface for it to work. Either shave off 1 block the spawn platform or raise the platform where you stand.
