Question about Servers

Are console servers "universal"? Like, if someone had Terraria XBOX 360, could be connect to a PS3 server, or a PS4 server, and so on and vice versa? (Not including PC, Mobile, 3DS or Wii U obviously)

No, Microsoft Servers and Sony Servers are separate entities

There isn't any cross platform play for Terraria either ( Sony users can't play with Microsoft users )

Some games like Rocket League are cross platform compatible though ( PS4 -> XB1 )

Is it possible to crossplatform yet in the Xbox Once with 360 ive been trying to find any info on it and haven't had much luck.

If it's not possible is there a set release for it? I know the PS4/PS4/PSVITA works.
