Working as Designed Relic not dropping

I was playing through the olds one army event and I finished killing the Dark mage and it didn't drip a relic even though I am on master mode and it is supposed to have a 100% drop rate. I killed it 2 more times and yet it still didn't drop a relic

Relics don't drop on Tier 1 or Tier 2 of the event. They can only be obtained from Tier 3 (Post-Golem).

As mentioned above, this only drops from T3 OOA.
