Mac Servers not working

I have tried joining countless servers and none of them work, they load really fast then say *L, can anyone help me?
By the way, I am using 1.3.0.8 on Mac,
Don't know if that changes anything.

Terraria is currently at version 1.4.1.2 so you won't be able to connect to servers as you're using an old version. You should open Steam or GOG and update the installation.

There is not, as that could enable people to play the game illegaly.
