Switch Shroomite Digging Claw disappeared

For some reason, my shroomite digging claw disappeared after I was using it in the jungle. I was using the UFO mount while digging a 2 block hole wide and I harvested a life fruit. I switched to my torches, and at some point, the digging claw disappeared. I don't know why this happened. I also marked the item as "favorite" beforehand, so I know that it didn't just drop. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a video. Did this ever happen to any of you before?

Iirc Switch had a bug where items would disappear randomly. I never could reproduce it, though.

I think you're right. I made another post similar to this and I think maybe now it might be connected.
