How would they affect the npc’s and what bonus would it have them and if it gives a normal banner bonus is it as strong as a regular players bonus and how dose this make it more interesting

We just need more info in it

Maybe banners are half as strong in pre-hardmode and ¾ as strong in hardmode.

Yeah, this would be cool. Seeing the villagers deal double damage and take half damage would be fun and promote functionally defensive construction.

I don't see why NPCs shouldn't get the full effect from the banners
It's not like they'll become extremely overpowered and unbalanced

It would be funny if the effect worked on every npc besides the angler bc he gets on my nerves and if the angler wanted the banner effect to work on him he would have to give the terraria fishing quest loot

I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be op if npcs got effected by banners
