Switch Switch split screen

Ok so I bought terraria on my switch so I could play with my little brother, but I realised that it doesn’t have a split screen function. Even though it’s fun to play I’d still like to play with my little brother. When are they going to introduce split screen??

When/if they've been able to optimize it properly. Keep in mind that the switch is the lowest powered current gen console because it's also mobile. If you follow the State of the Game threads that are released each month you'll be kept up to date ;)
