Working as Designed Switching weapons and autofire

If i have the auto fire setting on if i hold the fire button down and i switch weapons during it, it only fires the next weapon once then stops and i have to press and hold the button again for auto fire to keep firing
Is this a bug? Because its annoying if im trying to switch out multiple weapons fast

This is an intentional annoying feature known as animation locking.

this is intentional and has been in the game prior to 1.4, and is further made strict to prevent a 1.3 infamous glitch from happening again when switching between weapons
