PC tAPI won't open

Been trying to make a mod but before I do I needed to make sure tAPI worked... it didn't.
After i double click it its does nothing in the processes tab in task manager its memory goes up up up to 300,000+ than disappears.
I'm new to editing terraria but without tAPI I can't do anything:(.

Did you just recently install it after installing 1.3?
 
:( O so do i have to wait? considering i can't just drag the 1.2.4.1 textures in there can I? i mean I wont have 1.3 textures:p
[DOUBLEPOST=1437173178,1437173113][/DOUBLEPOST]I tried dragging the 1.2.4.1 images in there but npcs where messed up and I had to redownload terraria.

Thats not what I meant I believe the CraftButton texture from 1.2.4.1 isnt used in 1.3
and a new file is used in 1.3 instead of that texture
 
I totally forget to say i have gamelaucher as well. But it can only downgrade to terraria 1.2.2. So if I dowgrade to 1.2.2 than reinstall tAPI for 1.2.2 will it work? or should I make a new thread on downgrading to 1.2.4.1? (im new here) :p

tAPI Only works for 1.2.4.1
 
O I was thinking you just wanted the other folder named terraria. my terraria.exe and tAPI.exe is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Terraria

Yup like said above tAPI isn't updated to work with 1.3 .. you'll either have to wait untill they (ever) update it (probably won't happen) or look for something else
 
Well I guess ill just hope I can downgrade terraria to 1.2.4.1 soon.

EDIT: hmm could downgrading to 1.2.0.3.1 work?
