Sometimes I prefer tConfig over tAPI. My first mod was on tConfig, but it was erased from an corrupt hard drive and never got released D:

some of the greatest mods are on tconfig and will never be updated sadly

im confused i dont know how to install the tConfig, i installed the Z-zip file i extracted the files, there was no installation.

Just to clarify for everyone - tConfig does NOT work with current (or even recent) versions of Terraria. It only works with the 1.1.2 Steam version (Windows only, circa 2012), which is not legitimately available any longer. The Game Launcher tool referenced in the instructions is also abandoned/unsupported.

Surfpup was the creator of tConfig on TerrariaOnline, and he's posted this here simply for archival purposes. It isn't going to be updated or supported - if you want to download it and try to use it, you're on your own. Therefore, I'm going to lock this to avoid further confusion. If you're interested in mods or modding Terraria, you should look at tModLoader.
