Terraria not launching

Hello everyone!
I was recently playing Terraria with a friend, and then when I launched terraria the next day...it didnt launch. I dont know whats wrong, I reinstalled steam and terraria several times, removed possible interferences, watched youtube videos, but nothing helped. I'm not sure what's wrong. If you know how to fix it please reply as soon as possible. Thanks!

This worked for me:

1. Right-click Terraria in steam and click properties
2. Click on the "Local Files" tab then "Browse Local Files"
3. Find and run "xnafx40_redist" (Windows Installer)
4. press "Repair"
