terraria only shows up in task manager

when i open it from steam it says it launched and will only show up in task manager i have verified and reinstalled the game

Im having the same issue. I launch terraria via steam, it says its starting up, then nothing happens. When I Check the task manager its not in the applications, but in background applications. Ive tried uni-reinistalling, deleting config file, restarting steam, restarting computer in general, deleting/repairing/reinstalling XNAF and .NET, nothing changes it. The strangest thing is that I was playing terraria LAST NIGHT. Windows updated, then suddenly this one game does this.

So, i fixed it. Run the game, then after it gets into task manager, right click>properties>Compatibility>Run in compatibility mode for: windows 7. apply it, exit and try running it again. It worked for me after that. The issue is windows 10, the last windows update made it not compatible.
 
i have that one but still nothing also when i try to run terraria is slowes my pc very hard ( windows 7 64 bit )

Dude your ram sounds very slow !
