Texture Replacement Problem: Summoner Weapon Not Changing

Howdy, I come baring a problem related to weapons. I was bored one night and redrew the spider staff, spider summons, and the related buff, and threw them into a texture pack. The resulting sprites were dumb, but it was amusing. The problem is that when I swing the Spider Staff to summon my new sprites, the Spider Staff's sprite remains the same as if I didn't change the texture. This is incorrect, since I DID make a texture for the staff and put it in the appropriate folder. Here's how I have it set up:

- buff_133 (Buff for the spider minion)
- item_2551 (Spider Staff)
- projectile_390 (Spider minion)
- projectile_391 (ditto)
- projectile_392 (ditto)
- The above five sprites are in "My Documents/My Games/Terraria/Texture Pack/Images", with the Texture Pack/Images folder zipped.

The buff shows up with my sprite. The three "spider" minions show up with the sprites I gave them. The only deviant is the Spider Staff (2551) not changing, either in my hand or in my inventory. The dimensions are the same (42x42), and it is saved as a PNG file just the same as the other four images. I use Adobe Photoshop CC, saving as a PNG through CTRL S.

Why does the staff not change, yet the other four work without any error?
