PC That's A Lotta Errors! (Please Help, My Terraria is Going Funny)

This is a major problem, becuase I just got back into terraria, and my game is kinda crapped up.

ISSUE ONE: When I try to make a new character or world, I answer all of the questions, and then my game crashes, and the character/world does not get made.
ISSUE TWO: When I die, my game crashes.
ISSUE THREE: When I close the game, the game crashes instead of normally closing.

The crash is occurring when the game attempts to save. While I believe I know exactly which issue this is I'd like to confirm it before giving out the fix.

Does it give you a crash code or does it simply crash to the desktop with no further prompts? If the former please upload a screenshot of the crash report. If the latter then follow the guide below to enable logging. Then copy and paste the log here.
