Whenever the cloud of Redigit's face looms high in the sky, that is when "The Boulder God" event begins, wherein a torrent of boulders rain down from above for the duration of however long it takes the cloud of Redigit's face to completely pass by, with the rain itself being a mix of regular, bouncy, phasing, homing, & explosive boulders, the latter three of which being ones that can phase through all tiles, home in on the player, & destroy tiles respectively.
The reward for surviving The Boulder God with no deaths is the privilege to survive another day.
