Items The Prohibitor

The Shady Nerd

Steampunker
Ever tried clearing an area, and suddenly stopped picking up ores and gems because your inventory is filled with gel, bones, torches, bombs, and other random droppings from enemies and pots that you don't care for? Ever tried fighting an invasion or moon event, and kept picking up seeds and other non-moon items? Ever wanted to clear this junk out when you see it there, and suddenly second-guess yourself because it 'could' be useful, even if you never wanted to pick it up in the first place?

The Prohibitor can help with these problems!

How to Obtain: Randomly sold by the Skeleton Merchant after entering Hardmode, 10 Gold

To use the Prohibitor: Right-click it to open a chest-like GUI, in which you can put items. However, it does not store the item itself, merely the item data of said item, both allowing you to keep the item and making sure you don't have essentially a portable chest with you. These items are character-specific, and the inventory of items in the Prohibitor persists between worlds. Once you have applied items, you can use three modes on the side: Do Not Collect, Only Collect, and Trash on Pickup. These modes (defaulting to Do Not Collect upon entering a world due to Mode 3) act as follows:

Do Not Collect: You will not pick up any items the Prohibitor has currently stored. For example, if you put dirt, stone, and acorns, and proceeded to use dynamite on a forest you would not pick up any of those stored items, but still be able to collect the wood from the trees.

Only Collect: You will only pick up items stored within the Prohibitor. Using the same example as before, you would pick up only the dirt, stone, and acorns from the exploded zone.

Trash on Pickup: You will pick up all items as normal, but any items matching those within the Prohibitor are immediately trashed.

Clear Items: Not a mode, but wipes the stored data of the Prohibitor. Individual items can be removed by right-clicking them, but this clears the whole thing for the sake of brevity.

Thoughts? Concerns? Additions?

I was told this before aswell but, you need to add more info (Crafting recipes or what drops them, maybe even sprites e.t.c). Just putting that out there. The idea itself though is awesome! Good job ;)
