NPCs & Enemies The Undead Invasion

EparoBro

Terrarian
After the atrocity that was the Skeleton Invasion, I have re-done the post for a better invasion than the previous one

Undead Invasion
Intro: The huge metal skull falls defeated, and the souls are yours! The jungle becomes a wild area with no rest. The dungeon, however a long forgotten place of blue and bones, has an ominous wind coming from it. What is making the scent? Only one way to find out. You take off for the dungeon in hopes of an adventure and glorious loot!

Part one: The Incense Crafter
It looked perfectly fine inside, you head down still with high hopes, and find a skeleton in draping purple robes with a strange bottle in hand. You defeat him, and grab that bottle of mysterious blue liquid. The scent draws pure rage. Perhaps this is what water candles are fueled with?

The Skeleton Cursedrawer

This was the skeleton from the tale. He attacks by throwing a red bottle. This red bottle is filled with unknown liquid. It is pretty dangerous.

HP: 1200
Damage: 70
Debuffs: Slowness, Confused, Silenced, Weakness
Knock back Resistance: High
Drops: Blue Rage Oil (100%) Purple Coat (5%)

Blue Rage Incense
Material
"The undistilled liquid of rage."

Ok I got the Blue Rage Incense. What next?

You aren't done yet. You must gather other materials from the powerful monsters you have overcome in your journey. With it you can craft an Undead Incense.

Blue Rage Incense
3 Souls of Might, Sight, and Fright
10 Hallowed Bars
5 Fallen Stars

------------------------
1 Undead Incense

Part Two: The Undead Rage
Anxious to find out about this Incense, you hold it up high. Almost instantly, the skies darken, and the air becomes cold. Undead creatures of untold horror emerge from the soil and head for your body, for you have enraged them by waking their sleep.

The event starts and the background darkens as if night. I can't supply you with the spooky music, and I'm not a Spriter either.

Before you complain we already have the Pumpkin Moon, that is Halloween themed. We only see trees and pumpkins in that. And the Pumpkin Moon is post Plantera. Ok? Let's get on.

Wave 1 starts. We will be identifying all enemies in this event from here now.

Now, this event works, how there are infinite waves. It ends when you die. If you think that's impossible on hardcore, think again. When you die in this event, the darkness becomes light and everything is normal. You don't get the "You were Slain" message either. Hardcore characters will not die, and medium core characters will not drop their items.

i feel there are too many skeletons in the game, replace the enemies w/ some other kind of monster and it'll be gucci

The only problems I have with this is are crafting recipe and the fact it's Skeletons. Why such an easy recipe for a Post-Mech Trio event? Shouldn't be something like: 3 Souls of Sight, 3 Souls of Might, 3 souls of Fright, 10 Hallowed Bars, and 10 Bones? Or why not make it a drop from Dungeon Skeletons, and a message saying: "An ominous scent is coming from the dungeon."?
And then there's this:
Why another wave of skeleton-based enemies? There's already an entire dungeon.
Garak's right, why MORE Skeletons? Why not a Zombie Event instead? Pretty much the only time we get a bunch of zombies is during a Blood Moon, and in Hardmode, they're not as common. Or, since you called it the "Undead Invasion", what about making it a Skeleton and Zombie invasion?
