Torch Gods Favour not spawning.

I've done the Torch God event twice now, and no item has dropped for me. Going to try one more time before calling it quits and waiting for a patch.
 
Was your inventory and/or your Void Vault/Void Bag completely full after you did the Torch God? Did it also drop anywhere nearby where you survived the Torch God?
 
I made sure I had space in my inventory, and I checked the surrounding area. I think I may have found the issue though. Both of these attempts were in the cavern layer, but when I made an attempt in the underground layer, the item spawned. So, while the event will trigger in the cavern layer, it doesn't seem to drop the item.
 
The torch event can spawn before you put 100 torches down.
The item only shows up if you have 100+ torches down, as far as I can tell.
 
I think you need 101 torches to start the event and a little more for it to actually drop, because I tried it in the cavern layered with 101+ torches and it dropped
