Mobile Truffle not spawning please help!

The Truffle NPC is not spawning! I defeated the wof ages ago! I have also made a giant surface mushroom biome and I have even cleared most of the corruption nearby with my clentaminator. I see the background and hear music! Mobs are spawning but no Truffle! Please help! I need Shroomite Bars!

Can't help. I actually ended up with the truffle with no surface mushroom biome.

Have you checked through the housing menu that the bottom house isn't already being occupied by another NPC?
