Turtle Armor Set Bonus?

I want to make a armor with a set bonus similar to turtle armor that does more knockback. How would I go about replicating the thorns effect?

You might want to simply decompile the terraria source code with ILspy.
Then go down to the items section and look at the code for turtle armour.

There wasn't much in the item.cs, but I managed to find something in player.cs: https://github.com/TheVamp/Terraria-Source-Code/blob/master/Terraria/Player.cs, but there are a lot of numbers that I don't really understand.
