Game Mechanics Werewolves are weak to silver

I shot a werewolf with a silver bullet-loaded revolver.
20 damage.

But with all seriousness, if vampires get DECIMATED by stake launchers, why don't werewolves get decimated by silver bullets?

Make silver items do much more damage, maybe 10x more versus werewolves. So monsters stay true to their origins.

Yep, if vampires get pwned by stakes, there's no reason to prevent silver to do so with werewolves.

... And what about silver things that do 10x more damages?
Ex: Silver broadsword does 11 damages. But when used on a werewolf, it does a titanic 110! It's more than the terra blade! (and no, considering the fact it would have nearly no effects on other hardmode monsters, that's not op.)

This is something that I had always wished was a thing the second I saw a werewolf. It needs to happen!

This is something i wanted since werewolves came into terraria, possibly they could make a new item to help with this idea.
Silver infused arrows
5 Normal arrow + silver ore = 5 SIA's(Silver infused arrows)
not sure what stats could be though
