What happens when the corruption and hallow meet?

If the corruption and hallow meet will they convert each other? If so, does any side tend to win or is it a stalemate?

I don't think they can spread over each other. They'll both just stop.

Hallowed grass can spread over and convert Corrupt grass. Aside from that, no other conversions I am aware of.

I THINK that Hallow spreads over Corruption. I KNOW Corruption can’t spread over Hallow. I DON'T know if they stop or not. But, like I said, I KNOW that Corruption can’t spread over Hallow.
