So imagine you having a good time with your npcs, hanging out talking and buying stuff, suddenly a strange person comes in the room, he looks like the guide but slightly darker clothes with a purplish tint, you talk to this guy and he says something alarming
"In three days your wicked deeds will come back"
The man disappears and now you have three days to prepare for a new invasion
The Wicked Invasion
This is a hardmode event, what makes these events stand out is that the enemies are corrupted duplicates of npcs you have in your town, the more npcs that move in the more enemies come to the invasion, they have abilities based on the npc their based on a various classes
Examples
Wicked Dryad
She creates an evil aura that heals any ally in her vicinity, up close she can shoot balls of cursed energy that gives the Dryads curse which is similar to the wither effect in minecraft
Wicked Tinkerer
In his vicinity he gives all enemeis a defensive or attack buff, however slaying him can give a 10 second long weakness debuff on all newly spawned enemies
Wicked Clothier
A summoner he summons hellspawn and skeletons
Wicked Tax Collector
He is surprisingly fast and his cane swipes give the unique Poor debuff which drains money for 5 seconds per hit
Among others
After defeating all waves of the Wicked Invasion the Wicked Guide attacks, he wears the exact same armor and equipments as you and uses the same weapon you are using (use a sword he uses the same sword, use spells he uses the same spell, change armor and he will change to match your armor buffs and all) he is a tough fight focusing on using multible strategies but the rewards are worth it as you gain a new material dropped by this invasion called the Wicked Orbs which can be crafted to create three different armor sets

Crafted entirely with Wicked Orbs
This set bonus gives decreased mana and increased attack during invasions and special events like the blood moon
ShadowSun Armor
Wicked Orbs and Hallow Ores
The Set Bonus gives a huge damage buff to magic and summons and increases money drops by 10 percent
Black Heart Suit
Crafted from Wicked Orbs and Evil Ores
The more damage you have the higher your attack and speed, high risk high reward set bonus
