It is cool the way that they ultimately did create a Queen Slime looking back on this thread.
It could've been done in several ways, and the way they made it an early hardmode boss was very neat. It gives the Hallow a new boss and far stronger motive to explore the Underground Hallow.
Ontop of that, it brings one of my favorite new armor sets into the game the Crystal Assassin Armor. I always love armor that gives all-rounder attributes. It has a little of melee, range, magic, and summoning all in one. The other items from the boss are also nice little things to have.
