PC Y'all know how I could improve my ruined building?

So I want to create an old and ruined chapel made out of pearlstone but I'm not really happy with the amount of detail on it. Tips on how to make it look nicer and more detailed would be appreciated.:)

I'd say, try searching google for chapel images so you can get some inspiration.

You could add support pillars in your chapel, one left, one right, with some smaller rooms on either side of them.
A slanted roof, resting on wooden support beams and a small (bell) tower on the top of it (like you have now).
Benches, more windows, big chandeliers (made out of tiles) etc. Use more wood or some other type of wall to mix it up with your pearlstone. Everything is basically pearlstone; it makes it look rather bland. Make borders around your windows with a different type of wall and finish it up with windowsills, either tiles or platforms (several dungeon platforms make really nice windowsills).

Then, after you have a nice-looking chapel, damage parts of it, perhaps a part of the roof collapsed and parts of that roof is lying on the floor of the building. Windows have holes in them or are (partially) covered with wooden walls. Hammer certain tiles, so it looks like the walls have gaps or missing bricks here and there. Place cobwebs.
But make it feel like the damage fits. Those green leaf walls you made, there's not really a reason for them to be there. The outside walls are perfectly clean, there's no grass, no plants/trees growing, so not really any reason for these plant walls to be there. Perhaps save that for the garden. Create an unkept garden around it, with broken down fences, out-of-control hedge growth and so on.

Black roof support: (granite tiles come to mind)

Support pillars/columns on either side of the main room, with two smaller sections on each side: (Would make your building less of a cube)

The possibilities are endless!
Also check out what other people make. Plenty of topics on this forum and they give a lot of ideas.
