I knew about Terraria for a long time, but didn't actually ever play until the tail end of 1.3. I just kind of assumed it wouldn't be for me. My mind was changed however when I went over to a friend's house and tried it out on Xbox splitscreen, and got hooked almost immediately. Not much happened that session, other than my friends taking several attempts to beat expert mode king slime, even with the now-patched rope cheese method. But upon receiving an unwanted royal jelly and traveling to the desert, I decided I would build a "slime casino." I still have no idea what I meant by this and I have yet to actually build one.
I eventually bought the game on the Switch and completed an expert mode playthrough with a friend of mine, who somehow convinced me to try out a mediumcore character at first. This was a mistake. I eventually switched to a classic character, and he sort of carried me through the endgame, beating golem and the pillars without me and doing most of the work against moon lord, so I don't really count this completion.
Once 1.4 came out, I bought the game on Steam, and I have since completed 2 master mode playthroughs, both as a summoner. The class is addictive. I've decided to join the forums just to participate in the community a bit more.

But yeah, that's about my Terraria playing experience. I am also the creator of the Hearthian Tinkerer texture pack, and I've included some images of some builds from my longest playthrough, but that's about it.

The fish shrine, where I stored plenty of quest fish. Looks like I never got around to lighting it all up.

Those are some nice houses. I’m the sort of person who still builds wooden rectangles despite having played the game for 10 years
I hope you enjoy it here!
