Thanks much, I'll probably have to write those down so I don't forget.
One caveat before you watch Haruhi Suzumiya, during season 2, there's an infamous arc known as the "Endless Eight", which encompasses episodes 2-9 (or 12-19, it's a little complicated). You can watch the whole thing if you want, but for your own sanity, I'd recommend doing what I did and watching only episodes 2, 5, and 9 (or 12, 15, and 19). You won't miss anything. Trust me. You'll know exactly what I mean once you get there.
Another thing you should know is that the show was originally broadcast out of chronological order, and then all later releases also had completely different, usually also non-chronological orders (hence why the episodes I mentioned above can be numbered differently). Because of this, different sources will have different episode orders. I recommend watching them in chronological order, just because it'll be easier to follow, even though you'll miss out on a few things like better pacing. Just be aware that this will screw with the next-episode previews, which will not always match up with the next episode if you watch it chronologically. I'll provide a link below to a place where you can watch it in chronological order.
Also, once you're done watching the series, make sure you find the movie, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. It is literally the best movie I've ever seen. And I've seen Citizen Kane.
The other three I mentioned I don't really have any extra advice about, except that Puella Magi Madoka Magica also has a great movie that you should watch after finishing that series. It's called Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rebellion, and is not to be confused with the other two PMMM movies, which are just recaps of the series.
Here are some links to what I could find, in the order I recommend you watch them:
Log Horizon
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Crunchyroll also has this one in English dub if you prefer that, but I can't attest to the quality of the dub since I watched it in sub)
PMMM: Rebellion
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (This has both seasons 1 and 2, arranged in chronological order. What this means is that both seasons are mixed in together, since some parts of season 2 happen chronologically in the middle of season 1. It should be fine that way, though. In this order the Endless Eight are episodes 12-19.)
Gurren Lagann
The reason I recommend that order is mainly because of increasing weirdness, lol. PMMM has some weird stuff, but is very easy to understand compared to Haruhi, which is a complete mind screw (hence all the caveats), but Haruhi is at least grounded in some kind of reality whereas Gurren Lagann is... Gurren Lagann. Gurren Lagann is also the kind of show that will leave you feeling like you inhaled an entire bowl of meth for the rest of the day after you finish it, so it's best saved for last.
