wand of sparking
It’s actually pretty okay after the buff, but there’s not really a reason to not craft the more powerful wand of frosting as soon as you get it.wand of sparking
Megashark has significantly more DPS than both of those and you can prove it with simple math and kill time tests.I (and I cannot stress this enough) think that the Megashark is useless. the Uzi and Onyx blaster put it to shame
Got any evidence? It does more DPS
noGot any evidence?
Gotta do some kill time comparisons or simple dps calcs then, because uzi is weaker and if you actually did anything to prove otherwise you’d understand thatno
but in my experience
Uzi has always been better
Uzi: 37 damage x 4% crit chance x 6.67 hits per second = 256.5 dps.I don't usually have enough souls to craft the megashark alongside the TNE, Pickaxe Axe, and Fire Gauntlet
and I can get Uzi pre-mech
the Uzi is basically like a knockoff cereal brand to the megashark
it tastes basically the same
and its cheaper
Uzi uses significantly more bullets than megashark. Uzi may shoot slightly slower, but megashark has a 50% chance to not consume ammo and the uzi does not. Then again, higher ammo usage isn't really that big of a drawback (unless the ammo is difficult to get in large quantities e.g. fallen stars). The dps point has already been covered.I've used megashark before. ALOT.
But then, I tried using the Uzi.
My life forever changed.
It does more DPS, and uses less bullets
Honestly feel like the main reason to go for it is bragging rights.Terraprisma. As weird as it sounds, not worth the risk.
There are some things that are justified to get/do for bragging rights, and this isn't one of them.Honestly feel like the main reason to go for it is bragging rights.
I will never prefer mana potions.Sweats will tell you "Ha why are you using a Mana flower? The Mana Regeneration Band is a good substitute"
There is no replacement for the Mana Flower, your mana usage will always outpace Mana Regeneration
What makes you have such authority on that? Honestly I do it because I think it's a fun challenge; Empress is a great boss, and unlike most other bosses, no-hitting her is actually pretty fair and challenging, and gives a flashy, fantastic item as a reward. There are some things that are justified to get/do for bragging rights, and this isn't one of them.
It is a tedious effort to inevitably fail on you halfway through your fight with Duke FishronI will never prefer mana potions.
