I think I might know why Disney dislikes the show.
The Owl House introduces Disney's first nonbinary character and also has "Disney's first explicitly LGBTQ+ animated recurring character."

I hate Disney for many reasons
But the active suppressing of lgbt people is definitely one of the main ones
