    Minmaxing is much easier when you don't have to remake everything from the ground up if you do as much as miss one step and permadie from fall damage.

    As in, Minmaxing is for normal RPGing, not hardcore games. Unless you are that masochistic.

    I almost felt bad that I had a weapon which worked that exact way in one of my stories. Except most of the blade was solidified magic, and it was crafted from friendship, love, and the holder's desire to :red:ing cut a certain asshat villain in half.

    People connect "jumping at a surprising, sudden event" with "being scared" all too easily.

    In my case, I had to stop playing FNAF because it was hard not to use my natural response to jumpscares - IRL I swing my fist at whatever jumpscares me. Some friends learnt not to surprise me the hard way.
