    But why would you need to regress to a tModLoader version to play a mod that is already updated? I don't see why the mod creator should need to keep a previous version available if their current version works.

    Simply, modloader wont accept mods for later versions of modloader.

    But that just leads to the question of why you are using an outdated version of tModLoader?

    If you do that because you want to play mods that haven't been updated yet, then alright, although I'm not sure you should be cross with people that don't provide outdated version as much as you should be with people who haven't updated their mod yet.
