    Good thing the "totally not harem" look of it stopped me from following that series, then.

    I had enough with Negima. It was the literal drop that filled that proverbial glass for me. I've since avoided harem anime and manga. "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me fifty thousand times, I'm an idiot."

    @Kyouko Tsukino They literally killed the main character in Akame ga Kill. Don't even bother with it. Manga is 100x better.. kinda.

    Killing the main character can work for some stories tho. Like a certain one about a handy dandy book of death.

    Or "Rabbit Doubt" (not sure it has an anime yet,) depending on who you consider the main character.

    I know, I'm used to watching it, and it is a lot worse when someone is trying to say it, it can just be annoying occasionally

    Bleach is a somewhat good "gateway" anime (and manga) but don't expect a deep plot or meaningful battles. It's pretty much how Freenight described it, with the nice addition that any female character you see will be "awesome" for exactly five minutes, then become a Damsel in Distress for a long while until she needs to be "awesome" again for the plot's convenience.

    Also, generally say no to dubs. The actors are just being paid to voice the characters and feel nothing about them. There's also pointless censorship in most cases, or removing "pointless" episodes (read: character development) can also happen.

    Then there's dubs like Death Note. Every dub needs to be like Death Note. Yes, really.

    I wouldn't be able to write it without the old anime - it's what I (relatively loosely) base my story on. The whole of Book 1 is just "fan-made" plot, as the original author didn't quite give a lot of information on how life was back then, or what "evil" the Senshi fought in the past, not counting the one in the final arc of Book 1.

    The main issue with downloading is that you'll need to have disk space. Lots of it. An average 24-episodes series, with good quality, can take up to 1 GB of space.

    Anime... Anyone saying anime is inappropriate is just using the old "it's unknown, so it must be bad" bull:red:, or all they saw is hentai (pornographic anime) and, in their ignorance, thought all anime was like that.

    FYI, there's porn toons too. Does that mean children should not watch Bugs Bunny or Tom & Jerry?

    Ah, that's a different story. From past multiplayer experiences I know that grinding for items can be very tedious, especially considering drop rates later in the game. When everyone wants a Nimbus Rod, for example. I'd say Expert Mode is made primarily to improve your own skill at the game, and secondarily for more fun when fighting lots of bosses in mass-multiplayer.

    Yea, after playing expert mode, I go into the desert and dominate in normal mode
