A strange music can be heard, kind of happy, but something about the bass is off putting.
"Wait... no no, this isnt right."
"Let me just-"
Hyu'kin waves their hand, and the entire room changes, revealing Ai to be tied up in the center, the room now empty. The music can no longer be heard.
Her eyes are closed, and crystals grow rampantly on her shoulder and face.
"..."
Her breathing seems slow and thick.

(Why do I want to put a character other than Kulautt just so they can get covered/infected by crystals?)

(Anyway, uh... Still trying to figure out what I'm doing here with Kulautt.)
 
(Hmm. Guess I will be taking my leave from this RP at the end of the day.)
(Perhaps some other day I'll come back, but for now..)

Hyu'kin waves their hand again, and the room elongates dramatically, and a throne reveals itself. Hyu'kin sits on it.
"Ai, honey? Guests are here."
"...ngh."
Ai's eyes open, left eye, then right.
 
"Why don't you play with them? They seem bored."
"...krrrr."
Ai rips out of the bondage, and her eyes, now more visible, look fractured and strange.
The crystals glow a strange color, not green and yet not yellow.
"Are we gonna have to fight? I'm lowkey tired."
 
Solus looks tired as well...
tired of this bs that is-
(He's got energy left
but if he has patience left for battling is a different question to ask)
Etch looks at Pancake (I think that's light red, can't tell).
"If you're tired, then just stay out of the battle."

(yeah that's Pancake)
Ai grows a crystal out of the ground. It's a purple color, but is more solid white at the bottom. She steps on it and suddenly it's armor.
Then she grows a solid white crystal, shaped like an obelisk, which seems to hum slightly. She grabs it, and suddenly it's a sword.
And finally, she grows a solid black sphere that rolls around. She picks it up, and suddenly, it's a shield.

Pancake frowns. "Well now I'm definitely not fighting."
"Ai, do watch your Ko. That might be a little costly."
 
Solus semi-cautiously glances at Avin for a split second, then prepares an Aura Sphere.
Etch prepares a few flames behind her.
Avin fails to notice Solus glancing at him, and grabs his wand.
(Also heads-up that I might not use RNG much this battle and might do badly because I'm taking a general combat break in most RPs)
 
(No it's fine, it's just that I'll only use the Pokemon and will probably plot my other characters into temporary stasis or something just to be safe)

(Im still working on Ai's Theme so heres a creepy battle theme not by me:

Ai gets into position, and seems to whisper.
The crystal items begin to glow.
Sarah fires a laser at Ai's hand, hoping to knock the sword out, but it doesnt work.
Ai swings at Solus.

(So my current plan is to
A) suffer because my typing is slowed down by the chunky lad attached to my finger (not explaining more-)
B) Rely on Pokemon's Accuracy mechanic, so Slash, having 100% accuracy, can't be fully dodged right now, only have damage minimized
this should hopefully make it a bit more doable for me without even being able to reach my dice right now)
Solus blocks the swing for the most part with the Aura Sphere, taking little damage as a result.
Afterwards, he attempts to slam the sphere into Ai at close range.
 
Ai fails to dodge, the armor slowing her down.
However, the armor also protects her a decent amount.
(d10:5) The armor begins to glow slightly in the spot she was hit.
Ferr tries to grow a vine...
There aren't any plants!
"Ah, a Ke'de. Trapped in a place without their element, drowning while everyone else breathes normally."
"That war was a doozy, eh Pancake?"
Pancake has a horrified look on his face.
 
(Oh also
something tells me Esther's been taking advantage of the crystals offscreen by setting up camp in fields surrounded by them =])
Etch notices the glowing spot, and throws one of the flames at it.

Ai dodges, but the glowing spot gets brighter and bigger.
Ai touches the sword to the spot, and the sword seems to suck the glow out of the armor, and now the sword is glowy.
Sarah tries to read Ai. (d10:10! Overefficiency Effect Enabled!)
"The crystals are so loud... I can barely hear Ai's thoughts..."
Sarah begins mumbling to herself, unable to stop reading Ai.
"Glow bright glisten gleam shine reflect refract bend warp change mutilate manipulate judge feel prospect"

Avin keeps an eye on Sarah.
Etch silently throws another flame at Ai's sword.
 
"yes yes energy mine suck root drain eat devour ingest"
Ai blocks the flame with the sword, which now glows ever so slightly brighter.
Ai slashes at Etch with the sword, the glow leaving a trail in the air.(think Night Slash, but with lower accur.)

"This is going just how I expected."
Pancake runs up to Hyu'kin, and grabs them by their hair. "owowowowow"
"What do you know about the war." He says, quiet and demanding.
Ferr's eyes widen. He's never seen Pancake act like this.
