I don't mind them. You see, the way crits work currently, is that the chance of getting one increases with the damage you deal, up to a maximum of a 12% chance for non-melee weapons, which have a base crit rate of 2%.

Melee weapons, however, have a much higher base crit rate at 15%, which can scale up to a maximum of 60%.

I don't have too many hours in it sadly. VAC kicks me every 30 minutes or so for no real reason. No clue how to fix it.

Odd. Have you tried verifying your game cache?

Many times. I have no clue what the problem is. I have never downloaded anything that messes with steam.

It's possible that your antivirus (if you have one) is interfering with Steam and VAC. Have you tried whitelisting the TF2 folder?

I will have to try that. How can I whitelist the folder? I have never seen it come up.
