Without any spoilers, did the last episode actually finish off the story well? I know there's still plenty more story past this point in the source material, so it seems kind of likely that the anime would have finished without ending the story well.

Well, I admit that it was a tad disappointing, and it certainly leaves room for a season 2, but it could end here if the creators chose to. It was a good ending for what it was, but a lot was left uncovered.

Hm. Well as long as it gets a good enough ending that's good. Considering its popularity, maybe we'll also get a season 2 that answers more questions than season 1.

Oh, yeah, definitely. Now that I think about it, there's a ton left unanswered, left incomplete. Season 2 is a must.
