Which is worse? A giant wrench or a giant hammer that can transform?

I replied'wrench' to that, and Helena turned me into one of her hammers

I think the hammer would be worse purely because it could transform into things that are still hammer-like but are extremely unfriendly to the cranial region.

a wrench came to me growling and bit me in the groin........

Not really, I never killed the dragon that teaches you things in skyrim. Alduin got slaughtered in one hit however.
