‡ TELEPORTER JUMP PODS ‡

A Teleporter Jump Pod is a simple contraption that allows you to set up multiple easy to access teleporters in a confined space. It is designed to be jumped into from below on both ends of a teleporting circuit. It is also designed to keep enemies from getting stuck in them, so they don't teleport into your safe houses and so on.
Here's what you'll need to make a single teleporter pod:
-1 Teleporter
-3 Actuators
-15 blocks (any kind)
-2 Gray, Brown, or Lizhard Pressure Plates (player-only activated)
-1 Yellow Pressure Plate (NPC/Enemy-only activated)
-6 Platforms (any kind)
-A bunch of wires & wiring/regular tools (2 wrench colors at least)
-"Can do attitude!"

Keep in mind, to do a full setup (both ends) you're going to need double...and you'll need a third teleporter to make a trap for the enemy's to teleport to (or a fourth teleporter if pods are too far apart). See images below for examples.

Enemy trap is the middle teleporter.

To Assemble:
  1. Build an upside-down U shape with the blocks; start on the 4th unit from the ground, place two 6 block high pillars with 3 units of space in between, and connect the top of the pillars with 3 blocks.
  2. Place 3 platforms underneath the opening, and 3 platforms 2 units up from those platforms (as it shows in the images above).
  3. Place a teleporter between the two sets of platforms (on top of the lower set).
  4. Temporarily place 3 actuators on the teleporter and connect a player activated pressure plate to those actuators with wire.
  5. Step on the plate to make the teleporter inactive (able to go through) and recollect the wire, actuators, & pressure plate.
  6. Place both of the gray pressure plates (or whichever player-only activated plates you have) on either sides of the upper platform, leaving a space in the middle.
  7. Place the yellow pressure plate in the middle space on the upper platform.
  8. Wire through both player-only activated plates, the teleporter, and out to whatever other teleporter/jump pod you want it to go to; make sure you don't run this wire color through the yellow pressure plate.
  9. Get a different colored wrench and wire through the yellow pressure plate, teleporter, and out to the other teleporter you want to trap your enemies in; make sure you don't run this wire color through any of the player activated pressure plates.
  10. OPTIONAL: Design the pods with different themes to illustrate its destination (see image below for examples).

A theme design for each biome (minus hallow, corruption, crimson).

That's about it for that. Depending on the location of your pods & world size, it would take a couple thousand (give or take a thousand) wires to link to other biome teleporters.
Feel free to like, comment...give me feedback. Let me know if this was helpful or if there's any questions you have.

this is pretty ingenious. simple, compact, BUT the anti-mob feature isn't really necessary, is it? Just use Gray/Brown/Liz plates and mobs can't use them. got a mob thats on top of a Teleporter? just kill it before using

If you have multiple people on a server, they'll jump up there and get stuck if someone else is near them. You teleport & then they switch places with wherever you were before...not a big deal or anything of course. More of a clean up.

The real problem is when you're trying to go on a mob killing spree (like an invasion), you'll have to keep going down and killing them. The trap on this thread is only basic; players could elaborate with some lava/spikey balls and put it to good use.

By the time a player has access to teleporters, they should certainly have The Grand Design, given how long they've had the Mechanic. Actuators should also be taken for granted.

Keep in mind that this guide was made half a year before the Grand Design was added. :)
