Eye Stabber - Defeat the EoC
Fishermans Dream - Catch a Truffle Worm and fish with it
2Cool4Walking - Ride a Mount
Achievement Get - Get 5 Achievement
Boss Slayer - Defeat all bosses (excluding event bosses)
Ultimate Slayer- Defeat EoC, EoW/BoC, Skeletron, Destroyer, The Twins, Skeletron Prime, Enraged Plantera, Golem, and Duke Fishron in one night
Tribe - Have 5 NPCs
Village - Have 10 NPCs
City - Have 15 NPCs
Nation - Have all NPCs excluding the Old Man and Traveling Mercant
True Darkness - Craft the True Nights Edge
True Purity - Craft the True Excalibur
True World - Craft the Terra Blade ((Cuz ya know... True Excalibur Represents Hallow, True Nights Edge Represents Corruption/Crimson, and those two manage to make a world. No? Ok.))
What have you done? - Kill the Guide with the Guide Vodoo Doll
You have done something terrible - Summon the Wall of Flesh
There is no going back now - Activate Hardmode
Helping someone in need - Defeat Skeletron

Better Hero's Clothes achievement:

"HEY LISTEN"

Swing the enchanted sword while wearing the Hero's Clothes in the vanity slot and having a blue fairy buff active.
 
how about
"overkill is underrated"=get killed by the duke
"jump scare"=get killed by the dungeon guardian
"you did what?!"=kill the dungeon guardian
"the force is strong with this one"=beat the lunar boss
"happy Halloween!"=make it to the final round of the pumpkin moon
"merry Christmas"=make it to the final round of the frost moon
"i've got the power!"=forge the terra blade
"bacon and calamari for dinner!"=beat the duke
