Weapons & Equip A new pre-hardmode YoYo

I propose to add "Enchanted YoYo" to the game.

Craft: Wooden yoyo x1, fallen star x10, web x20, platinum/gold bar x10.

Characteristics: Damage 13, air time 7 seconds, range 16 blocks, weak knockback.

When used, the yoyo glows and summons many small stars that deal 20% base damage each.

This yoyo should help in killing Eye of Cthulhu, Brain of Cthulhu, Queen Bee and maybe Skeletron. ​

While it does seem pretty decent, and I can't say no to more yoyos with projectiles, it is WAY too easy to get for its power. This thing could easily outclass most other melee options at this point, like the Blood Butcher, Light's Bane, maybe the Starfury too. Although I will admit, the stars dealing 20 percent damage is fair, it could be harder to get or locked behind some kind of boss. Maybe world evil boss? I didn't want to sound to negative, but this thing is insanely good. Though I would like to ask, how are the stars spawned? do they spawn while the yoyo is in flight, or when it hits an enemy?

I agree with you that the crafting recipe is too simple, in fact I don't know how to make crafting this yoyo more difficult, maybe add platinum bars to the recipe? I just wanted to make an analogue of the enchanted boomerang, which has an even simpler recipe (wooden boomerang + 1 fallen star). To answer your questions, stars will appear from the yoyo itself when colliding with enemies and disappear after 1-2 seconds.

Upd: It would probably be better if the stars appeared when throwing yoyos even without enemies, they disappear quickly so it won't be too unbalanced
