Working as Designed Achievements not saving

I just changed iPad and sent my old terraria file to my new iPad, but now achievements don’t save anymore. I made lots of achievements back, because for some reason even with the achievements.dat file from my old terraria app in my new app, the achievements disappeared. I can make the achievements, but after a certain time (maybe after entirely closing the app), the achievements disappear and I have to restart. Weirdly enough, all the other stuff stayed. I don’t think it’s a problem with the file itself, because I replaced it multiple times just to make sure it was good. All the other stuff saved (new worlds, players and changes to a world/inventory). Could it be how the game stores the achievements? I am completely lost, so please help me.

Update: I replaced the achievements.dat file for the 5th time and now I have all of my old achievements. Maybe the file was unreadable? I didn’t think it was the file tho, because it could store achievements. For now, it’s working, so I’m good. Btw I tried sending this at 0:00 yesterday and it didn’t send for some reason, which is why I fixed it so quickly.

Thanks for the report! If you had your game open, it may have been overwriting the file changes. Glad to hear it's working now though!
