Other Add Back Texture Replacements With Different Dimensions

One of the things I liked so much about texture packs was that unlike Minecraft, you could replace textures with different dimensions than the original textures (e.g. replacing a texture that's 8 x 8 with one that's 10 x 8) and it would still work. Recently however, this feature was removed since 1.4.0.1. As a long-time user of texture packs, I'm upset to see this feature missing as it opened up a lot more creative potential for texture pack creators. If it's not too much to ask, I'd like to see this feature return.

If this was an intentional change, this should definitely be reverted. As I said, the feature opened up a lot of creative freedom in texture packs, and to have it removed means a loss of that creative freedom. It's not out of the question for Re-Logic to remove intentional features if the response is mostly negative, since bad luck from using the "wrong" torches was removed not long after it was introduced.
