Alerts and Embedding on Profiles

1) Now, on TO you would get alerts while just looking at the screen, but on here you have to refresh or click another link before you'll see the alert.
2) You can't embed pics or videos as a profile post. I would like to be able to do that. :passionate:
 
I can't say much about the first point besides observing that it's pretty sporadic. I guess skiphs will have to work that one out.

As for the second, I personally don't think it's a good idea and would rather see only links for now. Vids and pictures can make a profile very messy.
