All my characters got erased

Hello my name is Mortar

I used to play terraria verry frequently. There for i got a few characters and worlds now.
But some how they got erased and now they are deafult characters like the ones you get when you don't even change the hair or anything.
I shuld mention that i was playing modded at the time.
Is there any way to fix that?
(edit): I got all my characters back i sent to cloud but it still sucks that everything i didn't sent to cloud is gone now

By any chance does it impact your vanilla characters and worlds? I'm fairly confident that the staff generally don't support modded clients.

Modded does not impact the vanilla client but as modsupport comes out i think they shuld know
